Economia circular: os desafios do Brasil

The document assesses new political guidelines, in addition to legal and regulatory measures in China, Chile, and in the European Union, with a focus on Germany. Green economies emerge as possible and synergistic solutions in parallel to the economies of knowledge and innovation. Authors Carolina Burle Dubeux and Maína Celidonio Campos point out that “Some laws in Brazil have already been designed to favor the process, such as the Brazilian National Policy on Solid Waste Management (PNRS). However, its ambition with regard to the recycling of post-consumer waste is still extremely modest compared to leading global economies”.

Only available in Portuguese.
