  • 22 september 2017

At its first meeting, the China Analysis Group identified and discussed various initiatives by China, both in the public and private sectors, aimed at aligning the country with the challenges and opportunities related to the "new dimensions of globalization". China is preparing to preserve its competitiveness and assume growing leadership in several areas. This is all taking place in a context of 1) hyperconnectivity and intense flows of services and digital data in international trade; 2) growing investments from emerging countries, mainly from China; and 3) significant challenges facing China's own internal transformations, such as the demographic transition and consequent impacts on its labor market.

Only available in Portuguese.
