The 14th edition of the Forte de Copacabana International Security Conference looked at the topic "Security Architecture: An Exchange between South America and Europe". This edition is a collection of policy documents addressing the central topics of the event, identifying challenges and making policy recommendations for the future.

"The European Perspective on Better Collaboration between Latin America and Europe in the Fight against Drug Trafficking", by Mikael Wigell and Joren Selleslaghs, is the sixth policy paper in the collection. It analyzes changes in the illegal drug business in the last fifteen years and the instruments of anti-narcotics cooperation between Latin America and Europe.
