The Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center and the US Department of State are organizing the online event “Road to the Summit: A digital future for the Americas,” on May 23, 2022, at 2 pm ET / 3 pm BRT. The event is part of the “Road to the Summit Campaign”, which includes public online events to discuss important topics for the region, in preparation for the Ninth Summit of the Americas. CEBRI is a partner in the initiative. CEBRI’s Senior Fellow Larissa Wachholz will be the moderator for panel 1 on digital access. To register click HERE.
The event will discuss topics such as digital transformation and inclusion in the Americas, ways to ensure that the wave of digitalization doesn’t exacerbate inequality, and ideas on how to take advantage of and ensure greater access to emerging technologies. All participants will have the option to submit questions and comments prior to and during the debate.
