Biography Larissa Wachholz

Senior Fellow for Asia Program at CEBRI (Brazilian Center for International Relations), where she coordinates the China Analysis Group. Larissa is a business executive and institutional relations professional with over fifteen years of experience in infrastructure, energy, and agribusiness. She is a Partner at Vallya Participações. She lived in Beijing from 2008 to 2013, and served as Special Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture of Brazil between 2019 and 2021, where she established the "China Program". She obtained her Master's degree in Contemporary Chinese Studies from Renmin University of China, with experiences at the London School of Economics and Peking University. She contributes regularly to the press, think tanks, and academia, and is co-founder and former vice president of IRELGOV (Institute of Government Relations).
