On the 26th of January, CEBRI launched the book "Brasil-China Ensaios 2002-2021", by Anna Jaguaribe. The book presents a compilation of articles written by the Trustee over the years and was supported by the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG), Banco BOCOM BBM, and Marcelo Vieira.
Anna Jaguaribe was a pioneer in studies on China and the texts address topics such as diplomatic relations between China and Brazil, the Chinese view on multilateralism, the country's international projection and its geopolitical consequences, Chinese development and Beijing's modernization.
The book was designed by Mariana Jaguaribe, Anna Jaguaribe's niece and the photos, many of them unpublished, were shared by her sister, Cláudia Jaguaribe, and depict special moments in Anna's life.
She has made an invaluable contribution to the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). She has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2017 and has structured the Asia Program and the China Analysis Group. Her legacy is once again celebrated with the publication of this book.
The digital version of the book can be accessed here.
