CEBRI launches Political Economy Program

The Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) is launching the Political Economy Program in 2022. The Program will discuss institutional and public policy alternatives for Brazil in the light of new questions posed to conventional economic theory.

It will convene closed-door meetings, debates, seminars, and lectures with Brazilian and international panelists. It will be led by CEBRI Trustee André Lara Resende and Senior Fellow Leonardo Burlamaqui.

The Chair of CEBRI's Board of Trustees, José Pio Borges, and researchers Adriano Proença (CEBRI and Politécnica/UFRJ), Ernani Torres (IE-UFRJ), Gabriel Galípolo (Galípolo Consultoria), Rogério Studart (CEBRI and World Resources Institute) and Simone Deos (IE-Unicamp) will also take part.
