On October 3rd (Friday), CEBRI will host the conference marking the release of the results from the second phase of the Energy Transition Program (PTE2).
This initiative will bring together leaders and experts from different sectors for a debate aimed at guiding Brazil’s commitment to its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and consolidating the country’s position as a global reference for green solutions by 2050.
The conference will also mark the launch of the Executive Report, which presents data on three scenarios for achieving carbon neutrality in Brazil. The report was produced by the renowned research institutions Cenergia (COPPE/UFRJ), MRTS (USP), and FIPE (USP), and co-organized with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), and the Energy Research Company (EPE) under the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
The study was sponsored by bp, EDP, Engie, Equinor, ExxonMobil, Shell, Siemens Energy, Vibra, BNDES, and the Federal Government, with support from Veirano Advogados.
