CEBRI organizes an official event at UNFCCC’s SB 62 in Bonn, focusing on the future of the global climate agenda

  • 16 june 2025

Between June 16 and 26, 2025, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) will participate in the 62nd session of the UN Subsidiary Bodies on Climate (SB62), which will be held in Bonn, Germany. The Conference represents an essential preparatory step for COP30, which will take place in Belém (PA) in November.

As part of its participation, CEBRI will hold the official event “From COP30 to Belém+10: Shaping the next decade of global climate action” on June 21. The initiative will bring together experts from research centers, policymakers, business leaders, and civil society representatives to debate long-term strategies and commitments, with a focus on the post-COP30 period. The proposal is to structure “Belém+10”, a long-term climate plan that projects post-COP30 impacts and obligations.

The event is organized in partnership with the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS), the Latin America Climate Lawyers Initiative for Mobilizing Action (LACLIMA), the Institute for Sustainable Development (IDDRI) and the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES).

With this contribution, CEBRI strengthens its role as an articulator of strategic agendas and facilitator of multisectoral dialog on the international sustainability scene.
