With Brazil assuming the rotating presidency of the G20 this year and hosting COP30 in 2025, the challenge of climate change is an urgent and priority agenda on regional, national, and global scales. The debate also aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and identify areas of convergence for comprehensive plans for green and just ecological transformation, especially for developing countries.

The discussion counted with the presence of  Jennifer Morgan, State Secretary and Special Representative for International Climate Policy at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Izabella Teixeira, Trustee Emeritus Counselor at CEBRI and former Minister of the Environment; Ilona Szabó de Carvalho,  Trustee at CEBRI and Co-Founder and President of the Igarapé Institute; and André Clark,Trustee at CEBRI, Senior Vice President of Siemens Energy for Latin America, and Vice President of Siemens Energy Brazil.
