China's Ambassador Says He Will Maintain Collaboration with Brazil

In a debate organized by CEBRI on Wednesday, the 29th of April, entitled "China's governance and Chinese-Brazilian Cooperation in the New Global Order", the Chinese Ambassador to Brazil, Yang Wanming, confirmed that vaccine collaboration will continue, and that China considers Brazil a priority partner in the fight against the pandemic.

The Ambassador also confirmed China's commitment to constantly updating the partnership and joining forces in responding to global challenges and achieving sustainable development.

The diplomatic relationship between Brazil and China was marked by tensions during Former Chancellor Ernesto Araújo's time in office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Chinese Ambassador to Brazil, Yang Wanming, stated that the China returned to a productive dialogue with Brazil after Carlos França took over Araújo's position at the Itamaraty.
