Energy Program puts forth propositions to boost Brazil’s low-carbon economy

On Monday (12), CEBRI's Energy Program launched the policy paper "Propositions for a just energy transition in Brazil" in a closed-door event. The paper’s authors attended the launch: Jorge Camargo, Vice-Chairman of CEBRI’s Board of Trustees; Rafaela Guedes, Senior Fellow at CEBRI and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Petrobras, and Gregório Cruz Araújo Maciel, Senior Researcher at CEBRI and Sector Manager of Reforestation and Environmental Projects at Petrobras.

This policy paper’s launch put forth the propositions by CEBRI's Energy Program to boost the country’s vast energy potential toward a low-carbon economy. Brazil has unique conditions to meet its climate goals and benefit from this global energy transition to enhance its socioeconomic development and international engagement.
