CEBRI attends the launch event of the Rio+30 Cities Conference

On March 30, 2022, the launch event of the Rio+30 Cities International Conference took place at Museu do Amanhã, in Rio de Janeiro, an initiative of the City of Rio de Janeiro, co-organized with the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN) and the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP). The Conference will take place on October 17, 18 and 19, 2022, and will mark the 30th anniversary of Rio 92, the United Nations Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development, a milestone in global environmental discussions.

CEBRI was represented at the event by Carla Duarte, Director of External Relations; Marianna Albuquerque, Deputy Director of Projects; Larissa Vejarano, Project Assistant; Francisco Gaetani, Senior Fellow; and Gregório Cruz Araújo, Senior Researcher. The initiative brought together the most important specialists, academics, politicians, and representatives of the business sector and civil society working on the climate agenda in Rio de Janeiro to debate alternatives for inclusive and sustainable economic development, with a focus on the role of cities and the urban agenda.
