CEBRI convenes webinar in partnership with the British Council

On Thursday (Feb. 17), at 11 am - 12:15 pm BRT / 9-10:15 am EST / 2-3:15 pm London Time, CEBRI’s Culture and International Relations Program will host its first event in 2022, the webinar “Cultural Diplomacy as Soft Power” in partnership with the British Council. The event will have the participation of Andrew Newton, Director of the British Council in Brazil, with opening remarks by José Pio Borges, Chairman of CEBRI’s Board of Trustees, moderation by Evangelina Seiler, Senior Fellow at CEBRI, and comments by Marcos Azambuja, Trustee Emeritus at CEBRI. The panelists will discuss the relationship between cultural diplomacy and soft power, and how culture can foster cooperation.
