In Interview with Exame, Julia Dias Leite Says “Foreign Policy Affects Should Be Part of Daily Life”

The CEO of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), Julia Dias Leite, gave an interview to Exame's Bússola platform on Friday, the 10th of December. She spoke about the role of CEBRI and the importance of international relations in the daily life of Brazilian citizens. According to Dias Leite, "foreign policy affects citizens and it should be more involved in the general debate".

The CEO also commented on the need to integrate the youth into the debate: "When CEBRI's work became digitalized during the pandemic, we were able to reach more people. We sought to unite our young audiences, who are interested in what is happening in the world but do not necessarily have the tools to find out. As a result, we created a series of online courses, beginning with the history of Brazilian diplomacy course, for which almost 2,000 people participated from all over Brazil".
