Workshop: Relações Institucionais entre Brasil e Alemanha: cooperação ambiental

Brazil and Germany's current environmental reality was one of the topics covered in the First Workshop of the "Brazil-Germany Dialogues" Project, held on March 28th, by CEBRI's Europe Program, in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Brazil (KAS). With the topic "Institutional Relations between Brazil and Germany: Environmental Cooperation", the workshop emphasized bilateral relations and energy as an impetus for cooperation between the two countries.

The workshop was attended by CEBRI's Trustee, Armando Mariante; the Deputy KAS Representative, Franziska Hübner; the Director of the Protection and Use of Tropical Forests Program at GIZ, Anselm Duchrow; CEBRI Senior Fellows, Izabella Teixeira and Paulo Velasco; the Representative of the Getulio Vargas Fundation (FGV) Projects, Marco Contardi; the Representative of the Municipality of Alta Floresta, Rosilda della Riva; the Brazilian Biodiversity Fund (FUNBIO)'s General Secretary, Rosa Lemos de Sá; the Manager of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES)' Energy Program, Alexandre Siciliano; and the Superintendent of Economic and Energy Studies at the Energy Research Office (EPE), Jeferson Soares.
