CEBRI Dossiers

Dossier #4

We are pleased to publish a new edition of the CEBRI Dossier, gathering essays and articles on issues related to international relations, produced by authors renowned nationally and internationally, which were invited and selected by the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). The articles offer an overview of some of the most widely debated topics today and how they can affect Brazil and its international insertion. We hope that the texts and ideas presented here will generate reflection and knowledge about the issues at hand.

Articles of CEBRI Dossier #4:

  • "Consensus and Nonsense: Deficit, Debt and Pension" by André Lara Resende
  • "The Fartherland – A German Myth" by Michael Kleeberg
  • "The Free Trade Paradox: The Bad Politics of a Good Idea" by Alan S. Blinder
  • "Venezuela's Suicide: Lessons from a Failed State" by Moisés Naim and Francisco Toro
  • "Who's Afraid of Budget Deficits? How Washington Should End its Debt Obsession" by Jason Furman and Lawrence H. Summers
