A Relação do Brasil com os Estados Unidos

At a CEBRI-organized event on December 6th, 2017, Albert Fishlow, Political Scientist, Economist and Specialist in Brazilian History, analyzed the political and economic ties that unite Brazil and the United States from the end of World War II to the present day. For Fishlow, who is also a Member of CEBRI's International Advisory Board, the relationship between the two countries over the last few decades has gone through periods of intense cooperation and relative cooling. Currently, the Professor considers Brazil to be removed from the US priority list and drew attention to the inexistence of a deep bilateral agenda.

Fishlow's observations were supported by analyses by Henrique Rzezinski, CEBRI Trustee, and Marcos Troyjo, Professor at Columbia University. CEBRI Breaking News #17 is the outcome of a meeting between the three scholars who participated at the event "Brazil's Relationship with the United States", organized by CEBRI's United States Program at the Center's headquarters.

Only available in Portuguese.
