The Amazonizar PUC-Rio initiative continues, bringing unique opportunities.
On May 13, the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), in partnership with the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), will host Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, for a Masterclass on the theme “Brazil, Sustainable Development, and the Multipolar World.”
The session will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. at PUC-Rio’s main campus and will feature Ambassador José Alfredo Graça Lima, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees at CEBRI, and Professor Fr. Anderson Antonio Pedroso, S.J., Rector of PUC-Rio and Full Professor at the Department of Arts & Design.
Conducted in English, the event aims to foster debate on the main challenges of sustainable development in the global landscape.
At a time when integral ecology is gaining increasing relevance, this will be a unique opportunity to reflect on the future of international cooperation and the paths toward a more just and sustainable world.
