COP30 | Brazil & U.S. Dialogue

The Brazil Program at the Inter-American Dialogue, with the SEEC Institute, the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the League of Conservation Voters, is organizing a high-level dialogue and reception in Belém, Brazil, during COP30. The event will bring together 15–20 Members of the U.S. Congress and delegates from Brazil, as well as stakeholders from subnational or local governments, civil society, the private sector, and academia for an evening of dialogue and exchange.

The dialogue and reception will provide a unique opportunity to deepen understanding and cooperation between Brazil and the United States on sustainability issues in the built environment. The event will focus on industry, local, and subnational climate and resilience leadership and how public-private partnerships can work together to translate global climate commitments into actionable strategies, coordinated design outcomes, policy achievements, and meaningful investments.
