Carajás Conference: Advancing the Climate Transition at COP30 and Beyond

Brazil, a historical leader in global environmental governance, reaffirms its strategic role with COP30 in Belém, placing the Amazon at the heart of climate solutions. The region faces the challenge of balancing conservation, social justice, and economic development in the context of the low-carbon transition. In this context, CEBRI, Vale, and the Global Foundation join forces to promote dialogue among the public sector, private actors, civil society, and the international community, focusing on sustainability and innovation in the Carajás region, in alignment with Vale's Novo Carajás Program investments.
