The quest for the strategic interdependence: What does Brazil think?

  • Institutional

The event will present the working paper "What do Brazilians think of Foreign Policy?", produced by Feliciano Guimarães, which seeks to analyze the evolution of Brazilian public opinion in relation to the country's foreign relations and international issues since 2010. Considering the mentioned period, the document covers how opinions have evolved over time and how the worldview of Brazilians is constructed. The debate will pay special attention to Brazilians' perception of the US, China and the European Union — the latter seeking to analyze how cooperation could highlight this actor against the economic prominence of the US and China.
