50 years of Brazil-China Relations: Cooperation to a sustainable world

On April 17th, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), in partnership with the National Top Think Tank and the Institute of Latin American Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), a leading academic organization and comprehensive research center in the fields of philosophy and social science in China, will hold the International Conference "50 Years of Brazil-China Relationship: Cooperation for a Sustainable World."

The panels will be composed of representatives from various sectors of society, including government, private sector, third sector, and academics from both Brazil and China, providing an extensive debate on climate change, sustainability, energy transition, agribusiness, innovation, global governance reform, and combating inequality.

The initiative aims to foster discussions on what to expect for the future of Brazil-China relations and possible paths of cooperation for a sustainable world.

The Conference is supported by SPIC Brazil, BOCOM BBM Bank, Suzano, the Embassy of China in Brazil, Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation, ApexBrasil, and the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
