The debate aims to evaluate the results of the Annual Plenary meetings of the The National People's Congress (NPC), China's highest legislative authority, and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's main political advisory board. The Annual Meetings, due to end in March this year, represent one of China's most important political events, playing a central role in framing the country's plans for the coming years.
