On August 1, CEBRI, in partnership with the Institute of Economic Policy Studies/Casa das Garças (IEPE/CdG), held the seminar "Nationalism and Populism: The end of Globalization?". The event was attended by José Manuel Durão Barroso, former Prime Minister of Portugal and former President of the European Commission, who shared his experience in conducting Portugal within the European Union. The President of the CEBRI Board of Trustees José Pio Borges and Trustee Arminio Fraga were the mediators of the debate.
