The Role of the Brazilian State in the Cyber Scenario with the Advent of 5G Technology: Contributions from Industry, Government and Academia

On October 28th, CEBRI's Cybersecurity Analysis Group, in partnership with Siemens and Siemens Energy, held a closed-door meeting to discuss the role of the Brazilian state in relation to 5G technology and its relevance for the competitiveness of the Brazilian industry and for the country's economy. Participants also spoke about the challenges of public policy, regulation and infrastructure standards for telecommunications networks in the cyber and 5G technology landscape.

The meeting was attended by the General of Divisa and the Advisor of the Cyber Defense Program of the Cyber Defense Command, Fernando José Soares da Cunha Mattos; the Executive Manager for Industrial Policy at the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), João Emílio Gonçalves; and the Chief Solutions Officer in Latin America of Nokia, Wilson Cardoso.
