Biography Gabriel Galípolo

Senior Researcher at the Brazilian Center of International Relations (CEBRI). Gabriel Muricca Galípolo is Monetary Policy Director at the Central Bank (BC) and Former Executive Secretary at Ministry of Finance (2023).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master's degree in Political Economy, both from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). He was Head of the Economic Advisory Service of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Metropolitan Transport (2007) and Director of the Project Structuring Unit of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Economy and Planning (2008). In 2009, he founded Galípolo Consultoria, of which he is a managing partner. He was President of Banco Fator from 2017 to 2021. 

Muricca Galípolo was an undergraduate professor at PUC-SP, is a professor of the MBA in PPPs and Concessions at the Foundation School of Sociology and Politics of São Paulo, in partnership with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and is a member of the Study Group in History and Philosophy of Physics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
