Biography Abrão Neto

Abrão Neto is CEO of Amcham Brazil, the largest American Chamber of Commerce outside the United States, gathering 3,500 companies. He served as Secretary of Foreign Trade (2016-2018) and Director of International Negotiations, among other positions at the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC). In the private sector, he worked as a lawyer specializing in international trade and as a coordinator in the Department of Foreign Trade and International Relations at FIESP. Abrão Neto holds a PhD in International Law from USP, a Master's degree in International Economic Relations Law from PUC-SP and was a visiting Ph.D. researcher at Georgetown. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, a think tank based in Washington (DC), and a Professor of International Relations at ESPM São Paulo.
