Biography José Aldo Rebelo

Trustee at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). José Aldo Rebelo is a Brazilian politician with extensive experience in public life. He was Minister of State for Defence (2015-2016), Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation (2015), Minister of State for Sport (2011-2014), Rapporteur of the Forestry Code (2009-2010), President of the House of Representatives (2005-2007), Chief Minister of the Secretariat of Political Coordination and Institutional Relations (2004-2005), President Lula's government leader in the Chamber of Deputies (2003), President of the Commission for Foreign Relations and National Defense (2001-2002), President of the parliamentary committee of inquiry (CPI) for CBF/Nike (1999) and Federal Deputy for the State of São Paulo (1991-2014). Aldo was President of the National Union of Students (UNE) (1980-1981).
