Biography Joaquim Falcão

Trustee at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). Member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters (ABL) and the Brazilian Historical and Geographical Institute (IHGB). PhD in Education from the Université de Genève (1981), LL.M. from Harvard Law School (1968), Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1966). Founder and former Director of the Rio de Janeiro School of Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas - RJ (FGV Direito Rio). He was a member of the National Council of Justice from June 2005 to June 2009. He is the author of several articles and books, among others, "Onze Supremos" and "Mensalão: Diário de um Julgamento''.
