For the first time, CEBRI was recognized as the 2nd most important Think Tank in South and Central America, according to the 2019 survey of the Global Go To Think Tank Index Report, from the University of Pennsylvania, covering more than 8,000 think tanks worldwide. CEBRI has also held leadership positions in eight categories in the region, such as environmental policy, defense and national security, and transparency and good governance.

The report also lists the main activities developed by the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) in 2019, such as its participation in forums in 20 countries, expanding partnerships and projects.
