The perspectives and challenges of Brazilian Think Tanks was the topic of the First Meeting of Brazilian Think Tanks held by CEBRI, in partnership with the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP), on December 10th. The meeting was also supported by ExxonMobil.

Impact on public policies, global challenges and the social role of think tanks were topics present in the debates. The event consisted of two panels and a talk show and was attended by several experts such as the Director of the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP), James McGann; the President of CEBRI, José Pio Borges; the Vice-President of CEBRI, Jorge Camargo; the Director of Programs for KAS in Panama, Winfried Weck; the President of IPEA, Carlos von Doellinger; CEBRI Senior Fellow, Ambassador Benoni Belli; the Institutional Coordinator of the Escolhas Institute, Jaqueline Ferreira; the Executive Director of FGV, Marlos Correia de Lima; the General Research Coordinator of the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation, Augusto Castro; the Special Advisor of the Igarapé Institute, Michele Gonçalves dos Ramos; ITS Rio Researcher, Priscilla Silva; and the Vice-President of the Institute of Governmental Relations, Suelma Rosa dos Santos.
