On August 11, the Minister of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC), Marcos Pereira, was received by the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), in Rio de Janeiro. The purpose of the meeting was to share with the Minister a number of conclusions resulting from CEBRI debates and work and to discuss the future of Brazilian foreign trade and development. The Minister announced plans to intensify the partnership CEBRI-MDIC, especially in terms of technical collaboration.
On the occasion, were present from CEBRI the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Rafael Benke, the Vice-Chairman Emeritus, Ambassador José Botafogo Gonçalves; the Executive Director, Julia Dias Leite; and the Chairman of the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro (AC Rio), Paulo Protásio.
